You can not “trade” stocks as they say in the Ads all day.This is because all purchases and sales are recorded at the 4 pm closing price!!!.Rules allow up to 50 orders a day,but what good would that do they will all be calculated using the closing price that day!!.So In the way of a day trader where the stock positions are closed out”flat” at the end of the day,and the trader starts again from cash the next day….can’t be done since the positions must be open at 4 pm close of trading to count2008-04-29
